JETS pool usage agreement

SWAT's board chairman urged the committee not to postpone the contract indefinitely, saying JETS has been swimming without an approved contract, SWAT families face paying for indoor pool access, a major swim meet was canceled, and he has zero confidence administration will negotiate a deal. He also alleged an ethics conflict involving Council Member Chris Gibson, a JETS parent.

A SWAT parent asked the committee to return to the equal lane arrangement used from 2022 through 2025, saying it feels like JETS is dictating policy and her kids are being kept out of the pool. She warned the proposed contract could still leave SWAT with as few as two lanes.
